She Speaks: Politics, religion, money and ovaries

Maybe my body is a reflection of the world and this toxic disease is akin to the suffocating oceans and the blaze-engulfed Amazon.

Ovary-Achiever – Part 3

Turns out my colon is as squeaky clean as the day it came into the world with me. No polyps, no tumours, nothing to biopsy at all. The spot seen on the CT could not be replicated. My colon is golden!

Love this pink-tinged #fleabane. So cheerful! Also featuring native #spiderwort, chives, and an iris that finally got to bloom because the last 2 years I accidentally got it with the weed whacker.
Okay, I experienced a #ureteralstent - now let's NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! Fingers crossed the fix is permanent. And yes they let me keep the stent for my scrapbook!
I admit, the buzzing, invasive sound of drones is not my favourite thing. And yet, seeing this little mechanical creature shoot up into the sky is pretty fun, and the photos it brings back down are fantastic. It offers new insights into the world, one where we humans rarely see more than six vertical feet of.
Very proud of my little nanny berry flower poof. Pollinators go wiil for the proofs! Maybe berries this year.
And with the end of May comes more excitement in the garden. There's a lot going on, a new species of flower blooming almost every day. Today's highlights are, in order, #bleedinghearts #yellowflagiris #perennialcolumbine and lastly #charity aka #jacobsladder
Drone shot #3
