Go to bed with pain, wake up with pain. Insomnia despite sleeping medication. I can only take ibuprofen with food, but sometimes, like today, the pain is so much I can't make myself get out of bed to get food to take the pain medication. So I lie in bed at look at photos of hikes and walks until I can move again, knowing a walk to my kitchen is a "Difficult" trail for me right now. Mini hike yesterday into Bluffers Park, Scarborough. Such a lovely moment to myself with the #scarboroughbluffs and #lakeontario. 💫 Was hoping to avoid going to emerg but the pain got too bad. Unfortunately I do seem to have a small post-operative bleed. Spent the night at RVH and now waiting to see what the gyne-onc team thinks of the CT and Doppler results. 💫 Good news though - this hospital uses a different contrast dye that I am NOT allergic to! I didn't know that was a possibility. Now I can get CTs done here without fear of an allergic reaction. 💫 #cancerlife #minihike #dvt
