March 5th
Our last day. Initially we considered visiting another swimming pool, but I didn’t think we’d have time. It took us ages to pack in the morning because we’d acquired some souvenirs and we were both worried our packs wouldn’t meet the measurement criteria for ‘personal items’ any longer.
Truthfully, the airline didn’t even check our bags at all, we probably could have just gone with a carry-on sized bag. They didn’t check leaving Toronto either. Something to keep in mind. I checked in with the lost and found again about my coat and they didn’t have it and had no info except to say we were far from the only ones who have experienced this with Wow Air. As of this writing, I finally got a response from them, after 10 days and 4 emails – they don’t have my coat. Argh!
We got through security and everything with no issues. The flight was smooth – I got a window seat and saw some awesome views as we passed above Greenland.
Our trip truly sped by. I couldn’t believe the days ticked by without even slowing down for us. It was so packed with adventures and jaw-dropping sights and learning and sharing with each other. I feel that I’ve grown so much, as I always do when I travel. I love this country so much and I will truly miss it. I am so grateful that I have had this experience and to be able to share it with everyone who reads this. I hope you enjoyed this insight as much as I enjoyed experiencing and creating it.
It was a pleasure, and a gift, travelling with you. 😀
