Such a cute little non-native. I love interesting foliage.

A squirrel brought us another hyacinth bulb. That makes 2. Sorry, neighbour, whoever you are!

Identified this at @arrowheadprovpark, then came home and found it in the garden. Must have scattered the see a year or too ago. That's part of the joy with native plants. They are on an entirely different schedule than we humans. Welcome to the garden, friend.

Mega fan of Megafauna

Tea Lake Dam in Algonquin. Best time of year to see waterfalls and rapids, and no tourists or bugs. Thank goodness for spring.

Another great photo of little me in the treasure trove I found. There is so much I try to do for this girl everyday. I know her favourite snacks, what kind of rocks or sticks draw her eye, how she feels when she's all alone. I also try to spend just as much time thinking of older me, and what she would think of current me. I really think older me would be so proud of how hard I am trying.

My biggest accomplishment with this dog is learning her language. I never spoke dog before - I taught dogs to understand human. Our communication is much better this way.

Is anyone else beside themselves with excitement over the TOTAL ECLIPSE coming up? Pretty sure we are driving 4 hours to be in the path of totality. My dream would be to rent a massive bnb with all my friends but knowing my luck, we end up alone in a 12 bedroom house. Can't wait to see this event, even if we have to sleep in the car.

I feel like grey hair is the body's most gentle way of saying, age is happening, always. You cannot change aging, you can only change how things look to others. I am fully present to all changes and I wouldn't have it any other way. I will not be surprised by what age looks like on me. I'm just grateful I get to do it. Not everyone does.
